Mathematics Laboratory is an important section of school where students perform syllabus based activities and projects. As per CBSE requirement DIS encourages teachers and students to make use of Math Lab as much as possible in order to make learning of Mathematics more pragmatic and life oriented at the school level.
Our music room is a dynamic organization where students learn various kinds of light music throughout the year. We have excellent and well qualified teachers for Indian music. This place is full of life and students work with full involvement along with teachers of the department.
The School understands the importance of books. Reading material, newspaper, magazines and journals. For this purpose we have a well maintained library. A library is a place provided to students for reading as well as leisurely purposes. Books of all kinds are kept here systematically. Record properly and maintained nicely. Computer Science is taught as a compulsory subject that spans over the elementary, middle, secondary and senior secondary level. Our Computer Lab is equipped with so many computers and is open to all students from Grade 1 to Grade 7. All computers have access to applications for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, and programming. The computers are equipped with network access to allow students to explore the Internet. There are a variety of specialized educational programs also installed in the computers. Students may work in the lab on subject-related projects, under the supervision of respective subject teachers.
Science is not only knowledge but also an art. This art is explored, experimented and practiced in Science labs. Science Lab in DIS is equipped with resources meant for Elementary, Middle and Secondary students. Students enjoy doing, fun experiments, Science fair ideas and life science activities.
At Diya International school, students at all levels are strongly encouraged to participate in various sports activities. Sports are fun and offer students the opportunity to develop skills, make lasting friendships, and learn the values of discipline and sportsmanship. Sports are also important in order to promote physical fitness and competitiveness among students. Sports such as Soccer Basketball, Table Tennis, Football and badminton are introduced at the Middle School level. Activities like Judo, Yoga, and Dance providing Opportunities for Diyase to be creative and competitive. DIS provides a very well-equipped social science lab consisting of numerous charts, still and working models. Students of different grades are taken to the lab regularly. Social science quizzes, exhibitions and group discussions are held at regular intervals, which enable the students to learn while doing. Social science lab provides a platform for students to share their presentations. Social Science Lab is a distinguishing feature of our school where children come and learn practically which helps them to think out of the box.
